Refund & Returns Policy

At Giftafi, we create 100% custom-made songs based on your unique stories and memories. Because every product is personalized specifically for you, our refund policy differs from standard e-commerce returns.

The Short Version: We guarantee to deliver a studio-quality song. If we make a mistake (e.g., mispronounce a name), we will fix it for free. Due to the custom nature of the product, we cannot offer refunds for “change of mind” once production has started.

 

1. Cancellation Window 

We begin working on your song almost immediately to meet our 48-hour delivery promise.

  • Within 60 Minutes: You may cancel your order for a full refund within 1 hour of placing it.
  • After 60 Minutes: Once our team has begun the scripting and production process, cancellations are not accepted.

2. Returns & Refunds

As our products are digital files and fully personalized, they are exempt from the standard right of withdrawal (cooling-off period) under Consumer Contract Regulations.

We do NOT offer refunds for:

  • Personal taste or style preference (e.g., “I wanted it to sound sadder”). Please listen to our samples before ordering to understand our style.
  • Typos provided by you in the submission form.
  • The song arriving “late” if you did not select the appropriate Priority/Express option and we delivered within our stated standard timeframe.

3. Our Satisfaction Guarenteed.

We want you to love your custom song. If you aren’t 100% happy with the result, we offer a Revision Policy for our £29 Standard Service:

  • Technical Errors (Our Fault): If we mispronounce a name or get a specific detail wrong that was clearly provided in your original order form, we will correct the error free of charge.
  • Lyric & Style Changes (Your Preference): If you would like to change lyrics or the musical style based on personal preference after the song has been delivered, revisions are provided at our discretion.
    • Note: While we aim to accommodate most requests to ensure you love the final product, significant structural changes or complete re-recordings may be subject to a re-engineering fee depending on the complexity of the request.

4. Failed Delivery

In the rare event that we fail to deliver your song within the guaranteed timeframe (48 hours for Express/Signature), we will refund your “Priority Fee” or offer a partial refund of 20% of the order value upon request.

5. How to Request a Revision or Refund

To open a support ticket, please email us at ash@giftafi.com with your Order Number in the subject line. We aim to respond to all queries within 12 hours.
